Is Demerol neccesary for the pain I'm experiencing?

I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in august--so I don't know if I'm at the appropriate age. My stepmother gave me Demerol friday, yesterday, and today. I took the ones on friday and yesterday... But today I pretended to take the pill and slipped it in my pocket. Because yesterday, I took the pill and I felt high. Really high. And while that's cool for another time in my life, right now my brain is still developing and I don't feel comfortable being all druggied out. So the reason shes given me the pills is because I have a fractured hand. Didn't see the doctor, because my father and I both know that my hand is fractured--it's swolen and purple, my little and ring finger don't move as much... So the big question is; Is Demerol neccesary for the pain I'm experiencing for this fractured hand? I can deal with the pain (reluctantly), but I CAN deal with it if I have to... I just don't want to blow my brains out via narcotics at such a young age.

Hi Everyone. Looking for some brainstorming help. I am being relocated and my job will be in Morris Plains, NJ. I have a wife and a small child, so safety and a low crime area is my main concern. I am looking to spend 250K - 425K on the house and would like to be in a somewhat upscale area. For example, if my 300K house is in an area with alot of 600K homes, that would be great! I react differently when I am driving alone or with other people as pengers. When I am driving with other pengers, I try to tone it down and just grin and bear it. When I am alone. I hit my brake lights. I also keep a few pebbles in my ash tray. Then I wait until they are practically touching my rear bumper and I let the rocks fly off the back of my car. I am embarking on weight loss, and in four months time I hope to have lost around twenty five pounds. I plan to hit the gym three times per week, or more, depending on what you all think would be beneficial..I only have from 6:45 am until around 7:25-30 am so I was wondering what I should do while I am there. Is it also a good idea to swim lengths in the gym pool? I've also just joined a competitive volleyball league that practises twice per week for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours each time. How come they don't take my ex's refund or stimulus check when he is ordered to pay child support and he has

$5000 in back due child support? I know alot of people have asked this question and are answered with yes they do take the refund and stimulus check if there is back due c.s. But they have never taken his refund. Actually they are being very strict about taking child support. He has gotten away with not paying for a long time obviously. They ordered him to pay and the employer to withold from his check in December 07 and somehow he still dodged that while still working there and by the time we went to court again in March he had got a new job to start that day. The attorney told him if he didnt pay anything in 3 weeks (if i didnt recieve anything) for me to go to the courthouse and report it and he will be sentenced. Well right afterwards he went and filed a modification order so when 3 weeks came I went up there they said there was nothing they would do until the modification hearing and they don't have to take anything from him. I am frustrated with this.

I have egg white like CM and can feel abdominal twinges but the ovulation test kit is reading a negative result for the LH surge. Has this happened to anyone else? Problem with car nissan skyline ?

First started of minor my car would have a delayed acceleration like would rev up really high then eventually accelerate felt as if i had my clutch down and accelerated. Then eventually it was basically reving and not going any where. also seems as though when i change gear it wont affect the revs very weird any 1 have an idea of what it could be ?

Is Gyncomastia Surgery Available on the NHS?

Ok so I have had what I believe is Gyncomastia for around 6 years now im I am completely sick of it. It makes me depressed and is quite frankly ruining my life and its got to the stage where I cant even wear a T-shirt in public without being embaressed. I am 190cm tall and weigh about 200 pounds so im not fat but im not thin either. I play Rugby, football and badminton on a weekly basis and would like to think of myself as fairly fit and athletic, yet I still cannot get rid of these . I am a student and therefore am very poor so paying out �3000 + for the Gyn surgery is not possible so I was wondering if it is possible to get the surgery through the NHS or at least subsidised to a certain degree? It is literally ruining my life, I couldnt even take off my t-shirt during with my ex-girlfriend and she was left bemused as I wouldnt tell her why. Infact I havent told anyone that this is such a mive issue to me and is destroying my self confidence! :/

Well, it definitely isn't fair, since an honest work deserves an honest fair, whether they are family or ex-family (ex-in-laws). Family and business should be two separate things. Help! I need help brainstorming ideas for a murder mystery plot!?

we start out with a detective's aunt in a modeling company's meeting. there are two models who are best friends but from rivaling teams in the company. nikki and allie. they have picked, previously, allie as the model on the billboard but suddenly at the meeting the C.E.O changed his mind and picks nikki. nikki seems persistent not to take the job, but allie claims it is okay. we then, over time, see the manager (not the C.E.O) of the job flirting with nikki, furiously she denies him and slaps him; in return he slaps her and looks extremely scary,murderous almost. *note, please foreshadow (when the authors hints what is going to happen) it so it is hinted he might be murder worthy.and then so we see other models from another modeling company (giving her dirty looks) *also foreshadow they might be murder worthy, the models. the next day it is seen that allie is crying over the now dead nikki who has jumped down from her building. it is then the detective enters the story line. he does not think it is suicide despite the fact the cameras showed nobody else going into her building or any traces of a 2nd person in nikki's home. at this point you should write whatever you want, more foreshadowing, murdering clues, or whatever. so then at the end they discover allie killed her in jealousy, thinking nikki sabotaged her chance at fame when really she was helping allie. allie tied nikki's hair in a braid when she was drugged and hung her body across the opposite building so when allie cut the strings nikki's body would fly down, suicide being the first thought comes to the others mind. allie then kills herself/or jail sobbing that she can't live with herself and it is panned into the sunset, the detective doing a signature move and his silhouette disappearing into the shadows.

Where can I get a replacement 6 pin connection transformer for a Seimens 750 laptop circa 1990?

It is a metal boxed laptop used by Siemens engineers in the very early 1990s and is a real collectors piece, the transformer being the size of a brick and the whole thing was extremelyy expensive at the time. It still works well, but someone put the six pin plug in the wrong way and snapped and bent most of the pins. Cannot get another as is well obsolete, but like a favourite pair of slippers, can' t and won't throw it out as it has some major research works I have done, still in it.

My toddler wont go to sleep?

My toddler is 2 1/2 years old. When bedtime comes around we give him his drink and kisses. Then he is taken upstairs and read a book. When I lay him down and walk out within 3 mins he runs out crying hysterically about being sacred of the "scary monster" . Everynight i turn his lights on and we check for the scary monster. He has been sleeping with me and my husband for the last month and its time for him to sleep in his room. Does anyone have any advice on how to get him to go to sleep??

Before I was the kind of person who would keep my opinions and beliefs to myself if they differed from those of other people or from what society considered to be correct or moral. A few years ago I had experienced some major changes in my life and they led to me becoming a person who now defends my beliefs. I do what I want whether it is considered socially acceptable or not. I am the one who has to live my life and the one who will answer for the decisions I make so I owe it to me and to God to be courageous enough to stand up for what I believe to be right. I think you honor yourself and God when you become empowered to continue to wear your hijab regardless of what people say. I have always been a very tolerant person and never judge another for anything. I sincerely do not understand why someone would care whether you wear a hijab or not as it does not effect them in anyway. It is so sad that in the world we live in today a person cannot freely be themselves without others thinking they need to have an opinion on the matter. God bless you and stay strong.

22 year old daughter acting like she should be on a silver platter?

22 year old daughter is yet at the blame game stage where everything and everyone is at fault for her failure. She has been a problem at home since a teen and was kicked out due to the lack of respect and running of her mouth. Now she is in her parents home after they opened their door to ist her however she tries to run over the family by running her mouth despite being reminded that she is a guest. She has had more then one instance of yelling and using bad language as well being condescending to one member or another when she is in discontentment. I cant help but feel bad for the parents because they opened their doors to help her because that is what parents do but the kid is expecting them to fork over expenses. She had been told she has to pay rent and agrees to the face of the parents , but when the back is turned she will complain about it because she feels she should not have to because she is " daughter" and that her parents are bad people because they expect her to be responsible. The last out break that this poor family has had to deal with is that she wants her drivers license. THis family drives sticks and the girl can not drive this type of car. She expects the family to get her an automatic car so she can practice her driving and expect her family to pay for the drivers license as well. I walked in on her running her mouth to her parents when i went to pick up the mother for work cause we share drive. This girl at 22 should be booted out on her bums cause i know if she was my kid talking to me in my house that way and then telling me she isnt leaving when told to leave... it makes me angry that she can be this way and play victum. I cant help but be angry for the family because this girl was given the silver spoon by a grandfather that gave this kid whatever she wanted in the way of money and now that she has to work and support herself she pulls this garbage of blaming her parents for anything and everything. Being a parent myself, we parents are not perfect but as long as you take care of what is yours dispite family dynamics... no one deserves what this trouble making daughter is doing to this family. I am venting here cause really my friend is a hard working woman who does not take crap .. but it seems to me this free loading daughter drags her down to a point i am about to open my door to her and let her move in with us until she gets her own place. What do you think about the way this so called child is behaving?

Fish Tank Pollution?

Hi! We have a 10 gallon fish tank that currently holds three tetras (one black, two rainbow). For the past few months, the tank has been forming a brown fuzzy coating inside it--it coats everything in the tank, and is difficult to clean off. Water changes do not remove it, and it clings to the pebbles and plants. Recently, I broke down the entire tank, placed the fish in a bowl, and scrubbed the entire tank and its contents (including the pebbles). I re-embled the tank, let it "settle" for a day, then placed the fish back in. But the brown fuzzy slime is back!! What is it, and how do I get rid of it for good? And would getting an algae-eating fish help?

I have been having the following symptoms for awhile now (I do have a DR appt on Monday)....?

In December I had an irregular Pap, so I had another one to test for cancer cells, and she said everything looked ok, but to come back again in 6 months. Since then, I switched to the Patch (from BC Pills) and started Zoloft. I started to bleed in between periods. My Gyno said that was normal when taking new medications. She said it would happen for the first few months. Well, it is July and it is still happening. Normally, it was just a little bleeding but for the past two months my periods have been wack! Last month it was very late, then it was lighter than normal. On Wednesday I developed the worst lower back pain of my LIFE. It has centralized to the lower left side/hip and occasionally pain down my left thigh. The right side hurts a tad, but nothing like the left side. I literally cannot stand for more than 10 minutes doing an activity before I have to rest. But, laying/sitting doesn't help. Pain relievers have no effect whatsoever. About the time the back pain started, the headaches got intense. And finally, the past four days I have been bleeding again. But, the blood is brown/black and has occasional clots that are either stringy or mushy (gross, sorry). I have been having many bowel movements, that are sometimes a little pushed and hurt (my back). Uterin and Bladder cancer run in my family....however, I have had no urination problems at all. The fatigue I have is incredible, even with 8 hours a sleep a night, I still nap for at least 3 hours a day. I have a Dr appt on Monday, but any ideas as to what I may expect? Like I said, it's just this intense back pain that seems to get worse everyday.....like, not even a hair better each day.....Thanks!!!!

Financing for a mobile home?

I found a buyer for my mobile home, & found a new home supposed to close on the 27th. Well the buyers financing fell through because they want to have the mobile home moved to their land, & the lender will not allow this. The buyer has asked me to help find financing, & so far not soo good. They're credit score is about 587, & they want to have it moved to their own land, with out having to have it put on slab. What should I do about a snow-filled driveway this winter?

My fuel company sent me (and probably their other customers) a bulletin saying that as of this coming winter they will no longer make deliveries to homes where the driveway had not been plowed or otherwise cleaned of snow. I have a 1000 sq ft driveway. I am an almost 60 year old woman. I usually just shovel one snow shovel's width path out to the street and that takes me quite some time since I have to rest frequently. I'm antsy about buying a snow blower as I am not good at getting power equipment to operate. And I feel people with snowplows charge too much. One guy I talked with said he wouldn't drop his plow for less than $50. That's charging $20 a sq. ft.! What can I do?

I think you can develop new moles at any time. what you are looking for is changes in them over time. Look out for a halo around it, itchiness, bleeding, irregular shape, if it grows wider than half a cm. If you get anything like this it MAY be a melanoma but if caught early its easy to treat. I have had a couple of moles taken off over the last few years at the early stage of changes. And one final piece of advice give up the sunbeds now and invest in a good fake tan. It really isn't worth the risk.

Betta fish is sick. What else can I do?

A week ago my family and I left for a week vacation so I left all my animals at my grandmothers. Im always very skeptical to leave them down thee because she is bad at taking care of things and overfeeds people and animals. I told her exactly how to feed my betta fish and found out that later in the week she decided to not feed it 2 pellets a day like i said but about 20 a day instead. A few days before we were to come home she called to say my fish wasnt eating anymore. I figured it was full but when i came home yesterday and saw her it was bad. The water was severly cantaminated with about a hundred pellets that were rotting in her 1 gallon tank. It was discusting. I was even more surpisd to see my poor fish. She has a pellet-sized growth under her mouth on her chin. She has her fins pulled tightly to her body and she hasnt ate for days. I rushed her home and completley changed her tank and added 50 drops of BettaFix (the bottle said 18drops per quart and there about 3-4 quarts in her tank). I did this last night and today she is still very sick. I understand it wont work right away but im worried because i dont know when the last time she ate. I figure that the thing on her chin is some sort of fungus from the rotting food that contaminated her water and i also figure this is why she is sick. When will she eat? I have no idea how long she has been sick, its probably been around 4-5days but i had no idea until yesterday. Is there any hope for her? She also stays at the top in the corner and doesnt move much and is always gasping for air. I hate to see my little Bubbles like this :( normally she swims constantly and her fins are up and she eats like a pig. Ive had her for months and never had a problem, so please dont tell me its because her tank is small. Is there anything else i can do for her??

Light yellow discharge?

I've been taking birth control pills since I was 12 for estrogen because I use to have childhood cancer...I'm 23 now and I'm married...I recently asked my doctor if I could stop taking them so that I can try and have a baby with my husband. They told me to stop taking it about 2 mths ago and I got my period on my own for the last 2 months...I usually get alot of discharge..and this month I didnt get my period but I got alot of discharge and recently I noticed that I"m gettin some yellow discharge. I have a stuffy nose right now so I can't smell it and I can't be pregnant because my husband has been in iraq for the last 10mths....could this be cause of the bc pills? I havent been ual active ever since I stopped the pills. I havent had my period for this month yet and i've been having my period and the begining and end of te mth....

i would suggest looking at the label in the store. take boxes of the powder or cubes to make the broth. i know for a fact that they have chicken and other meat in them. others, like george washington broth does not, but the sodium is super super high. if you're talking about the already made broth in a can, see if the label has anything in the ingredients section, or if it says chicken stock. if you find nothing along the lines of a meat/ chicken product, you're good!

PLZ HELP I need your opinion on my next step in "Virtual Villagers The Lost Children".?

I'm on Level 2 of all techs except Culture where I am Level 1. My food supply consist of coconuts, crops and stew. My fishing is stopped due to algae. Should I get Level 3 of farming so I can get rid of the algae and have unlimited fishing? My food supply is always running low but no one has starved as yet. I only have one Master Scientist and Farmer (which is needed to get rid of algae) and they are getting old. Should I, instead of getting Level 3 of farming, get Level 3 of medicine so that my two Masters will live long enough to get rid of algae? It takes me a while to aculate tech points and I don't think they will live long enough while I try to get the Farming tech points to rid the algae. I don't know how long it takes to get Masters. I have several adept scientists and one adept farmer but I worry that my Masters will die and my adepts will not turn masters in time to rid the algae. Also the more population you have...do they go through the food supply faster? TY
