Why do people have cell phones?

No really think about your question? Look at how the mobile phone has helped people, from s, heart attacks, when you run out of petrol,lost,lonely...and the list can go on and on??? How would an open help us? people love talking and we have to communicate so if you can come up with some thing better then the mobile phone to do that then, then you want have to phone a friend...lol
