DEAR NON-MUSLIMS and FELLOW MUSLIMS: Would you tell me about...?

I think that Truth, Morality and Spirituality are combined and they define who we are and what we believe. It sometimes takes a lot of courage to stand up for those beliefs. Before I was the kind of person who would keep my opinions and beliefs to myself if they differed from those of other people or from what society considered to be correct or moral. A few years ago I had experienced some major changes in my life and they led to me becoming a person who now defends my beliefs. I do what I want whether it is considered socially acceptable or not. I am the one who has to live my life and the one who will answer for the decisions I make so I owe it to me and to God to be courageous enough to stand up for what I believe to be right. I think you honor yourself and God when you become empowered to continue to wear your hijab regardless of what people say. I have always been a very tolerant person and never judge another for anything. I sincerely do not understand why someone would care whether you wear a hijab or not as it does not effect them in anyway. It is so sad that in the world we live in today a person cannot freely be themselves without others thinking they need to have an opinion on the matter. God bless you and stay strong.
