Problem with car nissan skyline ?

First started of minor my car would have a delayed acceleration like would rev up really high then eventually accelerate felt as if i had my clutch down and accelerated. Then eventually it was basically reving and not going any where. also seems as though when i change gear it wont affect the revs very weird any 1 have an idea of what it could be ?
