What would she be considered? (butch, femme..)?

Okay, I've always thought that butch s just weren't for me. I like the more feminine ones. But like I started watching the L Word and totally think Shane is hot. Someone said that she's too butch for them. Which shocked me cause i didn't see her as butch. I kind of thought Emo maybe, and I like emo girls. (not with the whole, i'm so emotional blah blah blha, but i think they're hot (some not all)) And i always think of butch as looking like a dude. and i don't want to date a guy.
