What should I do about a snow-filled driveway this winter?

My fuel company sent me (and probably their other customers) a bulletin saying that as of this coming winter they will no longer make deliveries to homes where the driveway had not been plowed or otherwise cleaned of snow. I have a 1000 sq ft driveway. I am an almost 60 year old woman. I usually just shovel one snow shovel's width path out to the street and that takes me quite some time since I have to rest frequently. I'm antsy about buying a snow blower as I am not good at getting power equipment to operate. And I feel people with snowplows charge too much. One guy I talked with said he wouldn't drop his plow for less than $50. That's charging $20 a sq. ft.! What can I do?
