Light yellow discharge?

I've been taking birth control pills since I was 12 for estrogen because I use to have childhood cancer...I'm 23 now and I'm married...I recently asked my doctor if I could stop taking them so that I can try and have a baby with my husband. They told me to stop taking it about 2 mths ago and I got my period on my own for the last 2 months...I usually get alot of discharge..and this month I didnt get my period but I got alot of discharge and recently I noticed that I"m gettin some yellow discharge. I have a stuffy nose right now so I can't smell it and I can't be pregnant because my husband has been in iraq for the last 10mths....could this be cause of the bc pills? I havent been ual active ever since I stopped the pills. I havent had my period for this month yet and i've been having my period and the begining and end of te mth....
