If an angiogram is the gold standard for diagnosing coronary artery disease why even bother with stress test?

will the stress test become obsolete in the future or does it serve other purposes ? like i can see how it will never become obsolete because it can be used to uncover latent rate-related arrhythmia's such as rate-related AV blocks and rate-related bundle branch blocks
