Has anyone have a supra pubic cath instead of a Foley cath, and which do you prefer.(females)?

If you do have the supra pubic cath is it just put in above pubic bone or with a permanent cath line? Do you ever have leakage problems from the original foley placement inside the urethra after you have the foley removed and the supra pubic cath put in?
