In my divorce agreement with my soon-to-be-ex-husband, he will pay me a lump sum cash, say $150,000 to have my name removed from the title of our house, which we bought together 4 years ago. Do I need to report this $150,000 as income on my 1040? If yes, what kind of income would it be? Will it be taxable? Thanks!

Is Demerol neccesary for the pain I'm experiencing?

I'm 15 years old, turning 16 in august--so I don't know if I'm at the appropriate age. My stepmother gave me Demerol friday, yesterday, and today. I took the ones on friday and yesterday... But today I pretended to take the pill and slipped it in my pocket. Because yesterday, I took the pill and I felt high. Really high. And while that's cool for another time in my life, right now my brain is still developing and I don't feel comfortable being all druggied out. So the reason shes given me the pills is because I have a fractured hand. Didn't see the doctor, because my father and I both know that my hand is fractured--it's swolen and purple, my little and ring finger don't move as much... So the big question is; Is Demerol neccesary for the pain I'm experiencing for this fractured hand? I can deal with the pain (reluctantly), but I CAN deal with it if I have to... I just don't want to blow my brains out via narcotics at such a young age.

Relocating and my jobs is in Morris Plains, NJ - Where should I live?

Hi Everyone. Looking for some brainstorming help. I am being relocated and my job will be in Morris Plains, NJ. I have a wife and a small child, so safety and a low crime area is my main concern. I am looking to spend 250K - 425K on the house and would like to be in a somewhat upscale area. For example, if my 300K house is in an area with alot of 600K homes, that would be great! A list of cities I should research would be really appreciated. Finally, I would like the commute to be an hour or less, so even Eastern PA would be ok too, I know the houses might more affordable there.

How do you handle tailgaters on the road when driving?

I react differently when I am driving alone or with other people as pengers. When I am driving with other pengers, I try to tone it down and just grin and bear it. When I am alone. I hit my brake lights. I also keep a few pebbles in my ash tray. Then I wait until they are practically touching my rear bumper and I let the rocks fly off the back of my car. Shards of weighted granite works best for cracking windshields I found out from an autobody friend of mine.One truck hit me and did nothing to my car and his engine started smoking so bad his truck broke down and I just drove off. The rear vehicle is at fault in collision in my state and that's the law that I checked with my friends at local police stations. Serves the SOB right for tailgating me. How do you handle tailgaters on the road? Got any tricks for payback attacks? I used to keep a rifle on a rack in my truck in Oklahoma but I can't do that in Northeast. When they high beam a double barrel shotgun they tend to slow down a few MPHs after they see that mother load. Well I am also lobbying to get the gun laws changed in my state but that is another post.
